Common data for notification letters

Certain data are common to each notification, regardless of the country. Such data are distinguished by the symbolcommon data. When you enter data of this type, it is automatically filled in for the notification letters for other countries.

NOTE: any changes will be reflected to the letters of notification not yet sent. Letters that have already been sent will not be updated.

Contents of the notification letter

The editing section for the notification letter is based on the model proposed by the Law of 17 December 2010.

The required sections to fill in are:

Notification

This topic is not editable. It is simply a reminder of the name of the host country

Fund information

This section is used to input the fund information.

The following are required:

  • Nam and country of the UCITS - pre-filled by the application
  • CSSF codes
  • Legal form (common fund, unit trust, investment company)
  • Self-managed UCITS or not
  • List of subfunds / share classes marketed in the host country - pre-filled by the application
Other data are:
  • Additional information - optional
  • where to get the update of documents in electronic format - optional

Management Company

This section is used to enter data on the management company of the UCITS.
The following are required (only if UCITS is not self-managed):
  • Name and country of the management company of the UCITS
  • Address and website
  • Scope of activities (standard, discretionary management, investment advice, safekeeping and administration, other information)
  • Contact persons: enter at the minimum the name of one contact person
Other data are:
  • Period of existence of the management company
  • CSSF code or other

Documents sent

This section lists all the documents that are sent as part of the notification.

Marketing arrangements

This section is used to input data about the marketing of the UCITS.

It is mandatory to indicate whether or not the manager of the fund is in charge of the marketing.
The other choices are:

  • Other authorized management company
  • Credit Establishment
  • Authorised Investment firm or advisor
  • Other Entity

Facilities for shareholders

This section is used to enter data on services for unitsholders.

The following are required:

  • Details of the paying agent
  • Details of any other person from whom investors may obtain information and documents
  • Manner in which the issue, sale, repurchase or redemption price of units of the UCITS will be made public

Other information

This section allows to fill in other information.

Data to provide are:

  • Miscellaneous information to be provided to unit-holders
  • Possible exceptions to the rules applicable in the host Member State of the UCITS
  • Evidence of payment due to the competent authorities

Confirmation

You must certify that the text contained in the attached documents is identical to the one previously submitted to the CSSF. To do this,check the box.
